We needed a hotel in Sapa quickly after our plans changed, so we stayed here for one night despite some very harsh reviews. I was really surprised in a good way. The room was spacious, with nice hot water and a heated bed that was handy on cold Sapa nights. The place is in the city center, close to restaurants, shops, and attractions, yet it was quiet inside because it’s tucked away. The lady was helpful, friendly, and let us check in and out whenever we wanted. She also gave us some cosmetics that weren’t included in the price. I’d recommend choosing this hotel in Sapa.

I couldn’t stay here at all. Room no. 6 had sheets covered in stains and hair, and after I complained, room no. 1 was in exactly the same state, with both beds dirty. Room no. 2 also had dirty, unhygienic sheets. I asked for clean ones so I could make the bed myself, but every set they showed me had visible marks and smelled bad, clearly not freshly washed. The property couldn’t offer even one clean, acceptable room. I had to leave straight away and book another hotel at a higher price, losing time and money. This was the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had, and the hotel doesn’t meet even basic cleanliness standards. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid it.

We loved the service, and the price felt good for the location and view. If nobody’s at reception, just ask downstairs and someone will come right away.

Skip this place, really. We got lucky with our room and didn’t find anything unusual in the bed, so the moldy walls bothered us less, and the shower was very hot. But the staff don’t speak a word of English and weren’t helpful, and the breakfast was a joke. We were the only customers that night, which didn’t surprise me. Luggage storage means leaving your bags all day in an open lobby with no security. This place isn’t worth a cent.

Being right in the town center is convenient, though parking can be difficult in peak season. The room was okay, but dusty around the edges of the decorations, and the bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Each bed has an electric mat to keep you warm. There was a pressure pump that ran constantly, but we were tired when we got back, so it didn’t keep me awake.
