La Sen Village

Win really made the service a bright spot. When I told him the blanket and pillow were dirty at check-in, only the pillow was changed. The blanket was still there the next day after room service. Win was the receptionist then, and since the room service crew had finished their shift, he brought another manager up. They changed all the bedding themselves. He always made sure our requests were met. Thanks, Win! We spent three nights at La Sen. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the place is quieter than Tam Coc city since it’s a little outside the center. The resort lends bicycles, and there are a few eateries across the road. Pho's Kitchen is highly recommended. Grab doesn’t show a location point for the resort, so you have to use its restaurant Ben instead. The shower room water spilled out across the floor, and the shower pressure was weak, though the sinks had very strong pressure. Mosquitoes are to be expected, so bring citronella. There was renovation work beside the resort, and the crew blasted music at 6 am. Honestly, there wasn’t much the resort staff could do, but what a morning party.

We only spent one night here, but it was an amazing stay. The food was incredible and worth the price, and the service was top notch. Everyone was friendly and professional, and the owner was especially friendly and fun to chat with. The room was super clean, nice, and spacious. It’s close to Ninh Binh’s attractions, so getting around was easy. I’d absolutely come back next time!

Tam Coc has been a highlight of our Vietnam trip so far, and Win helped make it that way by telling us about some amazing local places to visit. He was also helpful with all our requests. The location is 10/10, close to everything. We stayed two nights in a very big, spacious room and found it really comfortable. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Construction around the resort made a good night's sleep impossible. Two sites nearby were noisy every morning from about 7 a.m. until late evening, Monday through Sunday, and nobody told us before we arrived. The photos are outdated, and breakfast was average for the price. Only the pho saved it. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained, with nice, clean rooms. The service is polite, and the cleaning staff make sure guests have water, tea, and fresh towels each day. But the boilers take a long time to heat, so you can’t fill the bathtub with hot water all at once.
