Mua Valley Lodge

It’s a peaceful area surrounded by nature, and Mai and Tùng were extremely supportive and helpful throughout our stay. Mosquitoes and little insects come with being in such a natural setting, but they didn’t bother us. It’s a place well worth staying at if you want to relax.

We had a great time at Mua Valley Lodge. The food was great, and our room was clean. Mai and Tung were amazing hosts. Thanks for a lovely stay, and see you again! ❤️

The breakfast was very poor. The eggs had been boiled until they turned grey, the rice was fried so much it couldn’t be eaten, and the hot coffee was often lukewarm with hardly any coffee flavor. The atmosphere was stressful too, with staff constantly rushing around. After housekeeping cleaned, I discovered a pair of my trousers was missing. When I raised it with the staff, they said I couldn’t get compensation unless I filed a police report. That was a big hassle, especially with only a few days of holiday left and plans already made. The photos don’t show the hotel’s actual condition. Only the rooms and paths to them seemed maintained. The pool was dirty and had dead animals in it. There was a pile of previous guests’ hair in our bathroom when we arrived, and it was never cleared away. The drains were clogged, making showers a real pain. The outdoor spaces were unusable and neglected. The wooden decking was badly worn, with large holes in places, and broken, dirty garden furniture had been left outside. I wouldn’t recommend booking here, even if the photos look appealing.

Mua Valley Lodge is a peaceful place to get away from the bustle and spend time in nature. It sits in a green valley with fresh air and a calm atmosphere. The rooms are simple and clean, with basic amenities. They aren’t fancy, but they feel comfortable, and the mountain views are lovely for relaxing or taking photos. The staff are friendly and ready to help. Services are adequate for a short visit if you don’t need high-end amenities. A good choice for a quiet, relaxing getaway.
