Narci Resort Tam Coc

We paid $80 AUD for one night, which felt incredibly overpriced for the quality. The whole place had a musty smell; the rooms were very dated, the bed and pillows were rock hard and lumpy, and while the room was clean enough, it wasn't great. Room service knocked at 8:30am after being loud in the hallway, breakfast was included but not good, and the WiFi barely worked. At half the price it might have been okay, but this was one of the more expensive budget hotels of our month-long holiday here and wasn't worth the cost. We only booked here because our first two options cancelled due to overbooking. Our last hotel had booked us at 9pm and we were due to arrive at midnight, so choices were limited. This was the only place that answered our messages and had reception open.

Pretty good. The pool is splendid, though the place is a little outside the small town with all the restaurants. There's an ATM across the street.

The location is great, close to Tam Coc downtown, bars, restaurants, and boat rides. Rooms and food were decent, but the staff felt a bit lukewarm toward guests, and the hotel itself was just adequate. Check when the gates get locked and tell the staff if you're going out. They will lock them at night, and no one will be outside or in the lobby to let you back in or get anything you might need. You can probably find a better place.

We told them we'd arrive at 4 am after our sleeper bus from ha giang, but got no reply and were left without anywhere to sleep. Luckily, we found hotel tam coc tk, which was much better.
