Serena riverside homestay - Trang An

The yard and its lovely view were what stayed with us most. There’s a charming garden by the lake, and the whole place feels peaceful. We found the rooms clean, cozy, and tidy. The host was cheerful, kind, and always welcoming. She makes delicious breakfasts and coffee if you tell her the day before what you’d like. There’s a scenic cycling route right by the homestay, which made it a perfect base for exploring by bike. After two weeks in Vietnam and plenty of good stays, this was the best one for us.

The best place we’ve stayed in Vietnam so far. The host is friendly and easy to reach, and we got fresh towels and water each day. Plus, puppies everywhere.

The pool was fab, and the property is really pretty with stunning views. We enjoyed breakfast, and there are other meals available too. The owner and her family were lovely, and they let us stay around the property after checkout because our departure wasn’t until late afternoon. We also got quite attached to the three friendly dogs. Our spacious, clean room had hot showers, working AC, and a comfy bed. We rented a motorbike without any trouble, and the free pedal bikes were a nice touch. We stayed three nights in late November. I’ve only held back a star for the location: it felt a bit far from restaurants for us, and the lane leading to the property is very dark at night, though it’s close to the Trang An boat ride. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Spacious room, big bed, and plenty of space for our backpacks. The air conditioning worked well, and the showers had hot water. The pool was clean and had great views. It’s a great base for exploring this beautiful region. Thanks to the lovely staff, and for letting us check out late!
