Tam Coc Green Garden Bungalow

The views of the limestone cliffs and rice fields are lovely, and the property is appealing overall, just outside the center. Our room was nice and clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The host family were very friendly, which made it hard at first to write an honest review. I’m still giving only 3 stars because several things need improvement. We only ate breakfast there on the first day. The selection was very limited, and food was held warm in containers instead of being made fresh for the few guests. There was no juice or water, and the tea was poor, so I chose to eat breakfast elsewhere after that, even though it cost extra. The bathroom drain is tucked in a corner behind the toilet. Showering in the middle of the room leaves the entire floor flooded, and it stays wet for hours because the floor doesn’t slope properly. The drain also smelled unpleasant, so we had to keep the ventilation fan running all the time. I love swimming, so the large pool’s condition was especially disappointing. It looks nice at first, but was dirty and poorly maintained, with mosquitoes floating on top and visible dirt on the bottom. We also paid 50k per kilo for laundry, which is quite expensive, and the clothes came back unclean.

Hung welcomed us with a big smile when we arrived in Tam Coc with our three little girls. The garden felt magical, full of greenery and flowing water. Our bungalow was spacious and well suited to a family, with clean rooms and thoughtful design. We felt safe and comfortable letting the girls wander outside, and the place had positive energy. The girls loved the pool, especially when it lit up in colorful lights at night. Hung was always available and helpful. We highly recommend staying here.

What really stood out was the family running the place. They were warm and sincere, and their recommendations felt honest, with no push to make a profit. The pool was spotless, and our room was clean and comfortable. It’s also just a 5-10 minute walk to the center of Tam Coc, with beautiful scenery right nearby. You can rent bikes and arrange activities through the property. I’d give it 100 points if I could. Thanks for everything, we’ll definitely be back.
