Trang An Lotus Lake Homestay

We could walk to the Trang An Boat Center in about 15 minutes, and Mua Cave was only a quick 10-minute Grab ride away. Breakfast was there each morning before we headed out to explore. The room matched the description and photos exactly, and you really can't beat this homestay's location.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of choices. We found the rooms very comfortable, with great mattresses and warm duvets. The separate rooms are thoughtfully designed and look out over the clean, well-kept pool, with amazing views. The dorm is also very spacious, with plenty of room between the beds. Everything sits in lovely gardens, set back from the road, and the rooms were clean and beautiful. A lovely place, and I'll be back.

We got help arranging a guided tour and renting a motorbike, thanks to the really kind and helpful staff. The lotus lake was lovely, and sitting quietly outside by the pool was a great way to relax. So far, this has been one of the best restaurants we've tried in Vietnam.

The pool was the best part for us, with clear water, comfortable loungers and umbrellas, and a peaceful feel. The food was delicious too, and our hostess made it easy to arrange bike and motorbike rentals. She sorted out a room problem from our first night quickly and made sure we were comfortable. My sister and I were so glad we found this place. The hostess and staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. Our room had a mini fridge, waterfall shower, air conditioning and fans, plus pretty netting over the beds. We also enjoyed the massages. The location worked really well for nearby sights, including the three-hour Trang An boat tour through the UNESCO landscapes. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
