I loved my time at Serene Bungalow and ended up staying two extra nights. It was low season and very quiet, and for a couple of nights I had the whole dorm to myself, which almost felt like a private room. The lakeside setting is beautiful, tucked away enough to feel peaceful and surrounded by nature. The staff made the stay special. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and happy to help. You can rent bicycles there, which is handy for exploring. The dorm was comfortable, with a roomy ensuite bathroom, so there was no need to leave the room at night. Laundry was available too, and it was quick and convenient. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit, baguettes, eggs made to order, banana pancakes, and bubble waffles. Everything tasted great, especially those banana pancakes. I’d happily stay again.

The place was quiet and had a big swimming pool. The buffet was tasty, with a good variety to choose from. I especially appreciated how kind and helpful the lady in charge was. Her attention was remarkable. One of my best experiences, fully recommended.
