Amy Hotel Hue

The rooms are fairly spacious, and the place is affordable and clean. It’s close to the places you might want to hang out, while the neighborhood itself stays quiet. Nice to have some peace when the day’s over.

The rooms were okay, though quite small and basic, and breakfast was pretty good. The receptionist was very kind, and the location is good. If you stay here, visit the orange coffee shop opposite. Its salt coffee is the BEST and SOOO cheap!

Our room was a standard double, comfortable enough for a night, though it wasn’t perfectly clean and had a slight damp smell. The TV worked, and there was a fridge with minibar items, plus water and a kettle. The shower stayed hot long enough, and the elevator was handy. We couldn’t get the aircon going, maybe that was our own stupidity, and the room door was a bit stiff to open. It’s an easy walk to the walking street, just around the corner, while the hotel itself is out of the noise. Staff were friendly and stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out. A decent budget option.

The location was great, the staff were very kind, and the room was good. Two things bothered me, though. A bunch of food items had been left out with no mention that they cost extra, and the price list was almost hidden in the room. Also, it was so humid inside and didn’t air out properly. The bathroom never dried, and after one day our clothes felt damp too.
