Duc at reception was quick to help when I realized I’d lost a small bag with personal things after my passport was stolen at Vincom center. I still can’t work out how the bag fell, but Duc contacted me through agoda and started trying to get my belongings back. It’s a lovely little hotel with kind staff. My 10-square-meter room was, unsurprisingly, small, but it had lots of amenities and a comfy bed. It felt like a little cocoon. The team seem curious and keen to improve. English can be difficult, but Zalo or a GOOD translation app works well. So long, Ed

The room was the main problem. The door let hallway light in, the sink wasn’t clean, there was dirt behind the bed, and the sheets had several stains. At least we didn’t find any unwanted roommates. For what I consider a steep price after three weeks traveling around Vietnam, that wasn’t good enough. We stayed one night, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The location felt too remote for Hue. Staff tried to help, but their English was very poor, and we’ve had easier conversations using Google Translate elsewhere in Vietnam. The scooter itself was fine, though we had to leave a passport as a deposit, and it was returned quite bent and out of shape.

The staff were nice, but the room I booked was tiny, up at the top, and smelled bad, especially the small pillows. There’s no car or bike parking, so your vehicle will get rained on.

A pretty, fully furnished small room for one, at an acceptable price for solo travelers. It’s on a small street and quite a way from Hue Imperial City.
