Purple Hue Charming Riverside Hotel

The beds were really comfortable, and the place itself was super cute and welcoming. Since we were waiting for a bus after checkout, the staff let us come back to shower. Hot showers!!!!

The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, and the location is perfect. Best of all, the staff are wonderful, truly the best we've met in Vietnam. Highly recommend!

For 396,000 VND including taxes and fees, booked through Booking.com, this felt like very good value. The host paid close attention, picked up on my requests quickly, and did what they could to accommodate them. The building looks a little old outside, but inside it's clean, modern, and seems recently renovated. My room had free bottled water, tea and coffee, plus a hair dryer, electric kettle, TV, air conditioner, a comfortable bed with four soft pillows, a wardrobe with hangers, and even a laundry bag. There were two umbrellas too, a thoughtful extra. Having laundry service on site is handy for a longer visit. The river view was lovely and peaceful, and the hotel is right in central Hue, with local sights and good food nearby. With this comfort and service, I'd expect to pay at least 700,000 VND somewhere else. Clean, well equipped, well located, and very hospitable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hue and will definitely return.

The staff were attentive and kind, and helped us book activities and shared a map with the things you might need in Hue. The location worked well for us, within walking distance of Western street and a scooter ride from everything else. Our room was quiet at night because it's tucked in an alley, and the beds were very comfortable. No damp or moldy smell either. I'd definitely stay again.
