The only thing I missed was a shelf in the shower for my shampoo and other toiletries. Otherwise, I loved the stay: the room had a balcony, a kitchen, a smart TV, Wi-Fi, and powerful air conditioning, all at a reasonable price. It’s a new building in a newly developed area, close to good restaurants, local food spots, and great sights. The staff were friendly.

Starway's people were so kind, and I had fun playing basketball with the kids. The area around the hotel feels a bit like a ghost town, but head toward the big ben and there are a few really relaxed, authentic places. I’d stay here again if I come to ha long.

The owners are hands-on, easy to reach, and happy to answer questions or requests in English. Starway is brand new, clean, comfortable, and safe, with fast Wi-Fi and a backup generator. It’s centrally located, so it works well as a base for exploring Halong Bay. The service and hospitality felt first-rate.

The owners are very friendly, and the rooms are clean. If you're in Halong for a cruise, this is a great place to stay, only about 10 minutes from the port. Highly recommend 👍🏼😊

The owner was really helpful, sharing information about the area and places to visit. The hotel has a nice feel and is clean. They cleaned our room and changed the towels daily. Definitely recommend it.
