Bhaya Halong Cruise

Our family party of 14 came from Canada to Vietnam for a family wedding, and Bhaya Soul made our two-day, one-night cruise an unforgettable part of the trip. Bhaya has several cruise lines. We'd happily return and highly recommend this one. Becky (Bích) helped us plan the wedding while we were researching venues around Ha Long Bay. Bhaya has been operating there for nearly two decades, and the team responded quickly to our questions. Becky communicated well, stayed patient as our plans kept changing, and worked with our budget and needs. We checked her quote against other wedding planners and found the pricing fair. Booking and payment were an easy process. The ship was clean, well kept, and thoughtfully designed, with lots of spots for beautiful, Instagram worthy photos. Every guest received a complimentary 40-minute foot massage when we arrived, which we recommend even if you're ticklish. There are three cabin types. The bride and groom stayed in the Legacy Suite, while the rest of us had Signature Cabins. We didn't try the mid-tier Symphony Suite, but the Signature Cabins still felt luxurious. The pool was open to all guests, and there were many places to sit, lounge, and enjoy Ha Long Bay. We shared the cruise with other parties, and each group had its own host. Duke (Đức) looked after our family, from check-in at the welcome centre through the wedding rollout. His hospitality felt genuinely warm, and he was attentive throughout. He seemed to know the answer to every question our crazy family asked, whether it was about the cruise or something we wondered about on the excursions. It was impressive. All meals were included in our package, but alcoholic drinks weren't. The bar was still open for anyone who wanted a drink. Nobody in our party had any discomfort from the food. Breakfast had lots of buffet choices, but lunch and dinner were set menus with fewer options. It's a smaller, quality cruise line, so the menu might feel limited depending on your taste. There was a traditional welcome with music and dancing. At meals, Vietnamese traditional instruments played pop music, a really unique blend. We also had four excursions: kayaking, squid fishing, a cave visit, and a floating village tour. They were well planned and gave us a good way to experience local culture.

The onboard staff were a real highlight. They were a lovely group, attentive and helpful, and Timothy was a fantastic host. We can't thank him enough for being so kind and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time on the 2D 1N Bhaya Soul Cruise, which had only launched a few months earlier. The boat felt brand new and was very well equipped, with a heated pool, sundeck, indoor and outdoor bars, and a dining room with gorgeous views and incredible food. Our cabin had a large, comfortable bed, its own bath, and a balcony. We especially enjoyed kayaking, the meditation walk through Tien Ong Cave, and visiting a floating village. Bhaya takes a longer route and stops in less crowded places, so we could enjoy the Bay's quiet without other tourists around. There was also a complimentary foot massage onboard, which was heavenly. We'd have loved to take a longer cruise if we'd had more time. If you're short on time like we were, check out the Bhaya Soul Cruise. It was a magical experience.

Ha Long Bay had magnificent scenery, and we had a wonderful time cruising and sightseeing for two days and nights on Auco1. Joy, the cruise director, and her staff were welcoming and thoroughly professional. The vessel was beautifully appointed and very accommodating, and the food and drinks were all first rate. A wonderful experience all round. I highly recommend Bhaya Cruise Center for Ha Long Bay tours.

We felt welcome and well looked after on the 2d 1n trip aboard Bhaya Classic 2. The clean, cozy room had a very comfortable bed, and drifting off to the sound of soft waves, then waking to them in the morning, was wonderful. The crew were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the activities were well planned. We went kayaking and saw a small cave and the biggest Cave in Halong Bay, which gave us a good feel for the bay. We can only recommend it!
