The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the Wi-Fi worked acceptably. The room and bathroom both felt small and dated, though the room might be better in the newer section. The older part has one elevator serving three floors, and there’s a large meeting room.

The room itself was okay, plain but about what I expected from a three-star hotel. The rest of the stay was hard to overlook. At check-in, staff were incredibly rude and seemed not to care about us. Vietnamese guests who arrived after us were checked in first while we waited. It was frustrating and turned a good holiday day into a miserable one. Lunch arrived cold, and they provided only a small bottle of water. Beer, for example, cost extra. The Wi-Fi password wasn’t posted anywhere, and asking for it wouldn’t have helped much anyway, since the connection was unusably slow. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and book another hotel or an Airbnb.

Nina's cafe is just across the street and serves good local food. At the hotel, the rooms are roomy, everything was clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The price is quite good for a place that looks like it might have been a four- or five-star hotel back in the 1990s.

It’s better than it was a few years ago, and the room was clean with decent, if basic, amenities. The room lighting should be improved, and the corridor was dark. The elevators are small and slow, okay for a few people but potentially awkward for a big group. Some people also find the room key troublesome.
