King Homestay

I booked at 200k a night, but with the late check-in I couldn't arrive until 10pm. The room had no fridge, towels, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, or other services. The AC took 30 minutes to come on. I called the owner, but he said he was busy and told me to get what I needed myself. He also said there was no drinking water, even though other homestays I've stayed in have at least left a bottle for guests. The room wasn't soundproof, the bathroom smelled terrible, there were mosquitoes, and water leaked all night. The Google Maps reviews were all five stars, but the actual experience was awful. I'd pay a few dollars more for a less frustrating stay. Stop buying fake reviews.

The receptionist was really sweet and took great care of our group during our Hue stay. She pointed us to tasty, affordable restaurants and made us a lovely breakfast. The home's location was handy for getting around and visiting places in Hue. Thanks for working with us and looking after the group over the past two days. We'll come back if we get the chance. We booked a room using the phone number on Google Maps and got a really warm welcome when we arrived. We were four hours early for check-in, but the owner still arranged a room so we could change, and looked after us so well. The homestay is right in the center. On the weekend, it's just a 10m walk to the walking street and the Western street. A 1000/10 experience.

I spent one night here. The room was spacious and clean, with lots of cool green plants around. The owner was so sweet and even invited me to stay for a drink.
