My Hotel

The room was small and the bed was hard, but I was still comfortable and slept really well. It was clean and quiet, with good air conditioning, and the staff were lovely. The location puts nightlife, restaurants, and pretty much everything else close by. A good affordable option when you’re travelling on a budget.

The WiFi was the one real letdown. It kept disconnecting, so we mostly had to use our own mobile data. Aside from that, the hotel was clean and in a very safe area. We got two free bottles of water, and the fridge freezer was big enough for a family. The smart TV had YouTube and Netflix, and the shower had strong pressure and very hot water.

The night shift guy seemed like a good man, and we had a few quick chats outside the hotel. For a short stay, the place is generally fine, though I had some issues: the rooms didn’t look like the pictures on booking dot com, and there were problems with the hot water. It’s okay for a few nights, but I think it should cost less for what it offers.

We mostly spent our time exploring the city, so the clean, decent room did what we needed. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, which made our stay comfortable. It’s a simple hotel but felt like good value, and I’d recommend it. There aren’t many amenities for younger children, though Ho Chi Minh City has plenty to keep families occupied, so it wasn’t a big problem for us. I’d happily stay here again if I visit Vietnam.
