The breakfast won us over. We skipped it on our first morning to try local food around Huế, then had to leave early the next day and finally tried it. We regretted not eating there sooner. The food was delicious, the juice was fresh, and the woman preparing breakfast came out herself to check on us. That thoughtful touch made the meal feel special. We were comfortable throughout our stay. The receptionist and staff were genuinely friendly, and our cozy room was well prepared. We slept so well it felt like home, and even my wife was surprised by how comfortable the bed was. This place has our hearts now, and we know where we’ll stay when we return to Huế.

The breakfast was so generous that I could hardly finish it. I’d suggest serving a smaller amount and putting more into the quality. Still, the riverside location is peaceful, the hosts are lovely and helpful, and the upstairs rooms with balconies and river views are great value. I’ll definitely return to Hue.

We couldn’t get any rest in the room we were given, which was right by reception and the kitchen and dining area. Staff voices woke us repeatedly from 5am to 9am, and we could hear all the guests eating breakfast. When we asked to move rooms, we were told everything was occupied and nothing could be done. The hotel looks good in the pictures, but our stay was a really bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We spent two nights here and found the rooms comfortable. The staff were amazing. It’s a good spot if you want to avoid the noisy city center but still be within walking distance. Breakfast is ordered from a menu, with both local and international dishes to try. I’d recommend La Paix Hue for a short city visit.

I really liked the architecture, especially the cafe (dining) area built beside the river. Breakfast is included and very good, and all the staff are friendly and eager to help when asked. For a simple homestay-style place in Hue, this is one of the best, IMO. My only issue was the sound of raindrops on the zinc roof of the next house at night. As a light sleeper, I woke up at 3am because of it.
