The room Confettii was roomy and tidy, with a big window looking onto a small pond. The location is tucked into a lovely alley in phố Tây, so it felt peaceful while still being close to restaurants and bars. We even happened upon a local New Year concert just steps away. Breakfast bún bò Huế was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions for food and places to visit. There’s a lot of character here, with a nostalgic, retro feel and thoughtful, photogenic corners. A few things could be better: the room felt damp, possibly from poor waterproofing or the earlier flood, and the old AC might struggle in peak summer. Hot water warmed up but cooled off quickly, so winter showers weren't pleasant. Even so, we were happy with the stay. The atmosphere, location, and welcoming staff made our time in Hue enjoyable.

Sitting by the pond with tea and soft music made for such a calm, unhurried moment. As a Huế local, I love finding places like this. It’s tucked right in town but still feels quiet and charming, and Thanh was so kind and welcoming. The rainy season gives Huế a gentle, romantic feel, and this place really suited it.

We liked having breakfast beside the fish ponds with quiet music in the background. It’s a small homestay with a relaxing feel, and a convenient spot near great restaurants and lively nightlife.

We came back for a second stay, a year after the first, and it was just as good. The place feels like a little rustic retreat, set back from the busy main strip. The staff are so kind and helpful. Easily one of the best places to stay in Huể, and I can’t recommend it enough.
