Memory Homestay

A quiet part of town, which was a welcome break from all the motorcycle noise. The place feels cared for and loved, with tasteful decor that still feels homely. The people are lovely, and it's quite modern throughout. So far, this is the cleanest hotel-style homestay I've found in Vietnam, and very good value for money.

Jerry suggested the famous walking street, and I spent about two hours there. He and his wife were very helpful and booked my bus ticket. My room was neat and clean in a beautiful house, and the host was polite and helpful. Shops, restaurants, cafes, and a gym are all very close. They also lent me a bicycle for free during my stay.

The price felt very reasonable, and it's not too far from other places in Hue. The owner and his wife were both very friendly and kind to us. It's a nice homestay with plenty of convenient facilities.

We got good value, and there's a good coffee shop nearby called You Do Kafe. The family atmosphere was relaxed, and the bikes were free to use. Our room had two double beds, but one window had no curtain. The polycotton sheets felt uncomfortable and staticy, and the pillows weren't good.
