The room smelled so bad we could hardly breathe. I paid for one night, but we went straight back downstairs, checked out, and left without staying. At reception, the owner was smoking heavily, and the whole place smelled of cigarettes. I had my child with me. We went to thanh lich boutique hotel instead, and it was beautiful and heavenly for our family of three. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

The location couldn't be better, with a WinMart, movie theater, bowling alley, and pho Saigon right next door. Nice Restaurant next door is also incredibly inexpensive and handy when you want to get going quickly in the morning. The owner, Quan, was incredibly friendly and spoke English well. He even gave me a free room upgrade. My room was clean and nice, with everything I needed, and a quaint balcony to wake up to. Great experience.

Tom wrote about this a couple of days ago. I stayed at the hotel once. It's okay for what it is, a 2-star hotel, with a nice cafe and staff who seemed nice. I also heard a recommendation from the 60 year old gentleman who was injured in the elevator, in the incident Tom described. I find it unbelievable that the hotel hasn't offered him anything. That's so wrong. They should cover every bit of his medical bills. I won't stay here again, and certainly not if you're a Westerner. He's too nice to write a review. If I were him, I'd be angry. Very disappointing.

The hotel decor looks worn and pretty tired, but the price is great and the location is excellent. The staff were very helpful too. I came back six months later and still liked the place. I'll stay again next time I'm in Hue.

The room didn't match the pictures in the booking app, but it was spacious and had a nice city view. The bed and refrigerator were good, and there was hot water with good water pressure.
