Sline Hotel and Apartment

We were able to check in early because the room was ready, which was great. The staff were very friendly, especially the manager, Mr. Hieu.

The layout is odd. The apartment is tucked into the innermost corner of The Manor, and the elevator only goes as far as reception. From there, you have to take the stairs to your room. There are three or four rooms on each floor, and you don’t find out about the stair access in advance. There are two ways out: go downstairs to reception and turn right for the apartment elevator lobby, or turn left and take the stairs down to Sline coffee. I left early one morning while Sline coffee was still closed, so I had to pass reception. When I got downstairs, an employee was asleep in the middle of the room. There was no other way out, so I tiptoed past him to open the door 🥴 The room itself was small but neat and attractive, with a balcony, and the new residential area was quiet. The staff were enthusiastic, and the water pressure was strong. During the day I parked in front of the cafe without anyone watching the car, but it didn’t get stolen. At night, I used the apartment basement parking, which charged by the hour. Sline cafe downstairs was convenient, though the drinks were so-so. Soundproofing was poor. One group came back late, and I could clearly hear their laughter and footsteps on the stairs. There was no bathroom shelf for shampoo, so it had been left outside the sink, and the water drained slowly.

The room was clean and pleasant, though getting up the stairs from the lobby was a hassle. The building lobby itself also felt rather drab.

The staff were so helpful, and the room was both clean and lovely. I had a wonderful break at Sline with my loved ones. Thanks for that, and I hope to come back soon ☺️
