Spring Garden Villa

The staff were so attentive and caring, especially when storm Trami hit. It was dangerous to get to the hotel, so they improvised to make things comfortable, with a late checkout, free lunch, and help finding other transport after all flights were cancelled. Very Vietnamese hospitality. We had a lovely, spacious circular room with nice decor, a good bed, and a good shower. It’s a little far from the centre, but the area was quiet and they had free bicycles, though they’re small. We had a positive experience.

We really struck gold finding this place. During the November 2023 floods in Hue, we couldn’t reach our homestay, but they took us in at 2am. This seemed to be the only area not affected by the floods. The owner spoke English, and the service was great. They did everything they could to make the stay nice. Good rooms, great showers, and lovely food. Thank you!

We tried two rooms, and the one with a balcony was amazing. It was charming, very comfortable, and the airflow kept the humidity much better. The big room had a nice view too. The ground-floor double was also very clean and calm, with good bedding and no pests. It had some humidity, as expected in February-March, but was much better than most places. The location suited us because we like a calm base and then getting around on scooters. It’s not far from the center, convenient for the mausoleums and pagodas, and there are various food specialities nearby. The staff were attentive. We loved our stay!

The staff really made the place for us. They welcomed us with a drink, and after a day in town offered soy milk or fruit juice. You can rent a bicycle to ride to thombs or the Imperial City. There aren’t good places to walk nearby, though. The villa is on the outskirts of Hue, in a busy area. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A great place to stay.
