Timothy Homestay - Hue

We had the best breakfast of our Vietnam trip here, and the house was such a lovely, quirky place in a nice part of Hue. The owners shared their home with us and were incredibly helpful and friendly, so the stay really felt like a homestay. It was special, and I know I'll remember it for a long time.

The villa and the food were both amazing, and the hosts were so kind and helpful when we ran into a few problems. We had such a good time here. If I could, I'd give it more than five stars. 100% recommend, and thank you again for everything.

The calm location, good beds, and free bikes for getting into town made this a great stay. What really stood out, though, was how respectful and kind Timothy's father was with guests. He welcomed us at 11 pm and asked if we'd eaten. He'd already prepared fruit and tea for us, which was amazing. The next day breakfast was great too, with green tea, ban mi with eggs, and really good coffee. Fully recommend staying here.

Our room is huge and comfortable, but the best part is how this house brings people together. In the evenings guests naturally sit around, share road stories, have drinks and snacks, and chat longer than planned. My morning yoga has become a little routine in the common space so Fredi doesn't have to dodge me in our room. As the house wakes up, people come through, pour coffee, and often stop to talk. Before long, strangers feel like travel companions. After our long train journey, the host had snacks ready for us. Such a small thing, but it felt really thoughtful after a tiring day. Breakfast is simple and just right, fresh bánh mì, fruit, tea, and coffee. The hosts also help with trips, transport, restaurant suggestions, and places to explore around Huế. They really want you to enjoy the city. You arrive as a guest and soon feel like you've been living in the house for a few days.
