From the bridge by the Con Toc ferry terminal, the open area gets lively in the evening. People of all ages gather there: young people drink, chat, and play loud music while kids paint statues and ride electric scooters. The hotel is easy to find, right at an intersection. The rooms are neat and clean, and room 104 is the only one with a 1.8 m bed. Its view over the rice fields is very pleasing. The receptionist speaks gently and is attentive enough to make guests feel welcome. This is probably the only hotel in Thanh My Fishing Village. It's next to the ferry terminal and Con Toc restaurant, and I didn't see signs for any guesthouses or other hotels in the village. Staying in a local's home might be possible, though I'm not sure.
