Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa

After 24 hours of travel, we wanted a quiet couple of days to unwind at a lagoon front hotel, especially after a very busy Vietnam trip in 2025. We were upgraded on arrival, which was lovely, and the staff were helpful. The resort covers a large area, with some rooms up quite steep hills, but electric buggys were always available and there were plenty of bikes. During our late April stay, only one restaurant was open in the evening; its food was very nice and there was lots of choice. The hotel is roughly halfway between Da Nang, about 90 minutes away, and Hue, around 60 minutes, so we’d recommend it for a trip through central Vietnam.

The spa was the highlight for us, with high quality treatments, and the tai chi was mind blowing. Loi was a wonderful tai chi teacher and the best massage therapist ever. Cam made us feel welcome and explained our package and the facilities. My wife had stayed at Vedana the week before and loved it so much that we booked right away. I had high expectations, and they were met and exceeded. Our bungalow was spotless, huge, and extremely comfortable, with wonderful showers indoors and out. We enjoyed the restaurant and in-house dining, and every service came with a smile. Phoung, Ha,Nhi, and the rest of the staff made us feel at home and relaxed. We’re coming back to this amazing lagoon and its luxurious facilities. 10 🌟 resort.

It was lovely to see so many familiar, wonderful faces again on our second stay at Vedana. A special thanks to Cam Truong for taking such good care of us! The property is stunning and meticulously maintained. Our water villa was huge, with a great balcony and view. Breakfast had lots of Vietnamese and Western options, and plenty of staff were on hand. The dinner restaurant also offered a large menu, and the wait staff were fantastic. This stay was just as special as the first. 🫶 Murray and Jennifer.

The lagoon setting means you should expect bugs. We didn’t realize that on day one, but on day two we asked for bug repellent all around and it was fine. The staff were friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Thank you Thao! The water pool villa is worth getting for the sunset view alone. The public infinity pool looked great, though we didn’t get to use it. It’s a little out of the way, but if you’re traveling the Da Nang/ Hue route, it’s worth stopping for one or two nights.
