Tea Resort Dalat

I stayed with my family for two nights and three days, and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. On the first day, a receptionist who seemed to be the only one working was very kind and hospitable. But the next day, my key didn’t work when we got back, so I asked the receptionist to let us into the room. Once inside, I saw it hadn’t been cleaned at all. They said they were sorry and would call housekeeping, but it was around 9 p.m. after a tiring DA LAT tour. Having the room cleaned that late was frustrating. We only wanted fresh towels that night, and expected an apology from the manager responsible, but got none. The next morning, I went to the same restaurant where we’d had breakfast on the first day. A worker told me the restaurant had changed. When I asked why nobody had told me, he just repeated that it had changed. Again, no apology. At checkout, a receptionist tried to charge us for an extra bed. I explained that on the first day another receptionist had said it would be free, so there may have been a misunderstanding about the charge. We went back and forth, and I got angry and brought up the room not being cleaned. The receptionist then said, “Do you want ‘discount’? then we will make the housekeeper charged”. There was still no apology. The extra charge itself wasn’t much. It was their general attitude toward me that made me feel bad. The service was poor for a room that cost so much.

The place was peaceful, with a lovely view and great accommodation. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food was splendid. I had a great stay and would come back soon.

It’s well equipped for this price, but I think construction is going on behind the park and villa. At this price, it feels too far from the city, and there’s no park or nice view.

Nice place, good atmosphere, and lots of parking.
