We were charged too much for a bad hotel, and I wouldn't recommend coming here. The air conditioning wasn't cold enough in any of the rooms, and even after staff came to mine twice, they couldn't fix it. There were no room upgrades, and no manager on site. Smokers were allowed to leave cigarette butts on the hotel floor, and non-smoking areas weren't enforced. Also, the lamp on the left side of the bed didn't work, the water drained very slowly, and loud wedding music played outside the hotel.

The service was good, especially from the receptionist, and the hotel is new. Our double room was a little small, but acceptable for the holiday price. From the 12th floor there's a panoramic view of the city center. Service prices are listed in a leather notebook on the table in the room.

The room was hot because the AC wasn't working properly. People left cigarette butts on the hotel floor, and guests didn't respect the non-smoking areas. We paid $1.1 MM VDG for one night in a standard room, but it didn't feel like a luxury stay.

The quiet setting was a real plus, even with our lake-view room. It wasn't as busy as the center, and after a tiring night following the Cao Bang loop, we slept really well. The room was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the staff were kind and lovely. Everything worked out perfectly for our one-night stay, and we'd happily recommend the hotel.

The main drawback was the K-Club discotheque across from the hotel. At least on the weekend, the noise went on until 2 am and was really annoying. Otherwise, it's a great-value new hotel with clean, modern rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a good breakfast.
