The nightstand lamp was broken, and the shower only stayed warm for a few minutes before turning cold. In general, though, the hotel was very quiet. Make sure you get a clean room. The front desk staff were lovely, and the room I had the night before was fine. I’d planned to give the review a better rating, but then found a toothpick from the previous guest under my blanket. I’d checked in during the evening, after housekeeping had left, so the front desk staff helped clean the room themselves. That room smelled strongly of smoke despite a “NO SMOKING” sign. There was a shower cap left in the shower, sticky surfaces from a spill, and visible dirt and old food. I woke up covered in rashes, then found lots of ants in the bed.

There’s a lovely park close by, the morning Bun Cha was delicious, and they serve great drinks throughout the day. The staff were kind and helpful too. A wonderful place to stay.

The toilet wouldn’t flush, and I’d seen someone mention the same problem in a review from over a month earlier. It shouldn’t be that hard to fix within a month. The hotel is modern, with a comfortable bed and a good hot shower. Like most hotels in Vietnam, though, it isn’t very soundproof. Still decent value for money.

The only real drawback is the poor soundproofing. Traffic nearby wasn’t an issue, and there were so few guests during my stay that noise didn’t become a problem. The hotel was modern, clean, well equipped, and well maintained, with very comfortable beds. Staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and gave excellent service.

I just needed a clean room for the night before heading to Sapa, and that’s what I got. Thanks so much 🙏 There’s also coffee and other drinks downstairs at good prices.
