It’s only a few minutes from the train station, and there are lots of nearby restaurants with good food. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A beautiful hotel.

The reception team were kind and really helpful, and the hotel is above average overall, so I’d recommend it. For a room costing over 1 million VND a night, though, the toilet paper should be better quality. The in-room safe also doesn’t work as a guest safe: staff have to lock and unlock it with a master key on request, which means there’s no private access whenever you want.

For us, this was the best deal we found in Lao Cai. The boutique hotel is new, and the room was beautiful and well appointed. Service was incredibly helpful to travelers, and the railway station is a short ride away.

The staff were welcoming, and the hotel feels a little fancy. I was glad to pay a few dollars extra for a break from homestay beds. Sadly, we didn’t get breakfast, perhaps because it was too quiet to bring in a chef.

I’ve stayed here twice and plan to make it my regular hotel for monthly visits to Lao Cai. The rooms are spacious and clean, and you get views over the Red River. It’s right in Lao Cai’s dining district, with plenty of food options just meters away. There’s currently no breakfast because of Covid. Some rooms have no windows, so be sure to ask.
