OYO 385 Gia Huy Hotel

Be careful with this hotel. We booked through Booking.com, arrived at the correct address, and showed them the registration form, but they just went quiet and said they knew nothing about a reservation. The photos matched too, yet it was as if we’d checked into a hotel that didn’t exist. They offered us a room at double the price. The wall price list said room 402 cost 150,000, but they charged us 300,000. It was a disaster. The room was barely longer than the bed, with only about a one-meter passage on the other side. The bathroom was small, the towels dirty, and there was just a little window in the bathroom. There was a refrigerator, but no remote for the air conditioner. We had to beg reception for one, and they eventually gave it to us, though not on the first try. While confirming our reservation with the owner, we met a guy who told us the exact same story about his booking. So it’s up to you. After one night, we escaped to a decent hotel. We only noticed at check-in that the key fob didn’t even match this hotel. If we’d gotten lost in the city and shown it to someone, who knows where we might have been taken. The address on the sign is correct, though.
