Lim’s House has free bicycles, and the rice fields are just a five-minute walk away. The family is lovely and makes sure you’re well cared for. We rented two rooms, one for my parents, and found them cozy and spacious, with comfortable beds, hot water, good water pressure, and great Wi-Fi. The portions are enormous, and the food is unbelievable. For three days in a row, we had only breakfast and dinner because none of us felt hungry at lunchtime. This was one of the best homestays we experienced in Vietnam. It’s well worth staying here.

Home-cooked breakfast and dinner are a real highlight, and there’s a laundry service too. Lim’s is centrally located in town, with easy access to the scenic rice fields and coffee shops. They can also arrange very reasonably priced easy riders for trips to the lake, waterfalls, and hot springs just outside town. It’s an excellent place to stay in Mai Chau and feels like a real homestay.

There are free bikes to borrow for a ride along the rice fields. Lim is warm, helpful, and very friendly, and she cooks the best food. She also shared lots of stories about the area and the ethnic Thai people. A very cute, cozy homestay with a lovely atmosphere.

The food was the best I’ve had at any homestay I’ve visited, worthy of a Michelin star. Lim’s is run by a friendly, interesting host, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Free bikes, tea, and coffee are nice extras. I highly recommend staying here.

The rooms at Lims house are spacious and amazing, and they even did our laundry. Don’t skip dinner, it was delicious, and there was plenty of it. Lim and family made our stay so nice.
