The lake nearby was beautiful, and the views were amazing. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was fine. The road noise is pretty loud, so better soundproofing would help. Also, after a shower, you have to wait a little while for the hot water to heat up again.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the good food and loved seeing the local women perform traditional dance during dinner. We also got to use bicycles, the sauna, and the steam bath for free. A very nice hotel in a good location. Highly recommend Mai Chau Lodge. Thank you!

Glamping was such a good time :-) Our tent had AC and the outdoor facilities were good. Watching local kids swim in the lake at sunset was really relaxing. You can hire push bikes to ride around the villages. We did a 50 kilometer village mountain bike tour, with a huge lunch and stops for drinks. The first 1.5 hours are steep, but after that most of the day is downhill. My favourite activity of the trip so far 😀

The outdoor pool was super clean, and lounging by it one afternoon with a cool drink felt like a real treat. It’s a lovely lodge beside a small lake. At sunset, the lanterns gave the place a warm feel. Dinner was ok, while breakfast was excellent, with Vietnamese dishes as well as muesli, eggs, and fruit smoothies. I’d definitely recommend it for some peace after a long drive.

Everything was lovely, from the cozy room and warm welcome to the tasty breakfast, friendly staff, and green garden. Trekking, biking, and the cooking class are must-try experiences. Highly recommended.
