The best parts were the large, modern, comfortable rooms and good bathrooms. The gardens were well kept, the resort felt spacious, and it had a pleasant setting, a decent pool, and a nice private beach with a free buggy ride. Housekeeping kept the room tidy, laundry was excellent each day, and the free shuttle into the city center ran twice daily if booked in advance. But the stay fell far short of the claimed five-star standard. I was there with my child for 18 nights in July 2025. Breakfast was extremely repetitive, with limited choices, and food ran out almost daily while we waited for refills. Service varied. Only reception staff spoke enough English to communicate; other staff couldn’t say a word, making simple requests difficult. When reception didn’t like what you asked for, they’d say, “Calm down sir, calm down madam,” which felt dismissive. The restaurant’s lady manager was consistently rude and seemed to have no grasp of hospitality. The worst incident was checkout at 3am. Our garden bungalow had no lift access, so we asked for a buggy to collect our luggage. The attendant, Loc, initially refused to take our bags, even after I explained I had back issues and was travelling with a minor. He eventually took only the smallest bags, leaving us to carry the heaviest ourselves. After several calls to reception, he reluctantly came back, but dragged our large suitcases down the stairs instead of carrying them. Both had significant wheel damage and could no longer roll, which caused major problems at the airport. I wrote to the General Manager and senior management to explain what happened, ask them to take responsibility, and find out what action they would take. Eight weeks later there was still no reply. That’s unacceptable for a resort claiming five-star status. The lobby was also uncomfortably hot during the day because there was no air conditioning, and the service lacked the polish expected at this level. This resort has nice rooms, a good beach, and an attractive setting, but doesn’t deliver a five-star stay. Service needs major improvement, management never followed up, and guest issues don’t seem to be taken seriously. I’d rate it 3 to 3.5 stars at most. Because of the checkout incident and management’s silence, I can only give it 2 stars overall.

There’s plenty of greenery and beautiful scenery at this spacious resort, which has a large grounds and separate houses called bungalows. The bungalow we rented was comfortable, pleasant, and had working air conditioning, though it had no hand soap. Golf carts made it easy to get to the pool and beach. You can also rent a bungalow for a special evening and have a photo session by the shore, in the nature, or around the resort grounds.

I had the Vietnamese fried rice with a beer. The serving size and flavor were fine, but I wish they’d given me more fish sauce!

The bungalow we got had a garden view and was superb, spacious, and comfortable. For the price, it was amazing value. The hotel is in a quiet, remote spot with mountain views, which is good if you want peace and silence, but there are no nearby shops or restaurants, so you depend on the hotel restaurant. I came back after previously giving it 5/5. That rating was mostly because USD 36 a night was such a low price for a large resort with roomy, well-designed accommodation. Booking through Agoda was easy, and we got the room we asked for. This time, though, several service problems made the stay frustrating. The shower was broken and leaked from the side, flooding the toilet area, and the aircon needed servicing. Customer service itself was excellent, 5/5, with kind staff who responded quickly. The bigger problem was the beach. Four team-building groups were there at once, with overlapping loud music that started up to 20 minutes before they arrived. Activities ran from 7-10 am and 2-5 pm, so relaxing was impossible, especially in the morning. Although advertised as private, the beach is clearly shared with public groups arriving by bus. The seawater looked dirty on two of our three days, and plastic bags floated there every day. Staff cleaned the sand but left rubbish in the water. Breakfast had a range of dishes, but quality was average and some items were overcooked. One Russian guest waited too long for an omelet. When she reminded the chef she’d asked for ham, he replied in Vietnamese that she’d have to wait, then ignored her and cooked for nobody in particular. She ended up adding the ham herself. My vegetarian wife had told the hotel in advance and asked for rice without meat, but staff didn’t respond. Vegetarian choices are very limited both at breakfast and on the regular menu. Only the restaurant manager was helpful. He asked for an omelet to be made on the first two mornings when the egg station refused. Breakfast used to be by the pool, but has moved to a windowless room on the lobby’s second floor. One morning a private karaoke event next door made it very noisy. The kids’ pool stayed closed throughout our three-day visit because of loose tiles, with no repairs done. At check-in, no one explained how things worked. We didn’t know we had to request an electric cart at the beach bar, so we walked 700 meters back. Bikes are free, but each requires a 200k cash deposit, which isn’t convenient if you don’t carry cash. They’re only available until 5:30 pm, even though staff work much later, and the beach closes at 6 pm. It’s a four-star hotel with real potential, but avoidable problems make the service experience feel closer to two stars. I hope they fix these issues. I used to fully enjoy this place.

We booked for three nights and liked it so much that we extended for another five. Our two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo was very clean, with comfortable bedding, a walk-in shower, tub, basic kitchen that wasn’t for cooking, and a balcony facing the glorious 50m pool. My husband swam every morning and said the pool was very clean. It’s exceptional value for the price. The grounds are huge and very well maintained, with a beautiful, peaceful beach for hotel guests and nature all around. There’s a free shuttle into town each day and another free shuttle around the resort. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with vegetarian choices, Western food, and traditional Vietnamese dishes. Customer service was also outstanding. It’s a peaceful oasis about 20 minutes from the City center. Don’t be put off by some negative reviews, we didn’t experience any of those problems. We’ll definitely come back!
