Ecstasy Hotel

Friendly, welcoming staff and a room that was kept lovely and clean. The view faces right onto the beach, and the pillows were comfortable. The shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water, and toiletries were provided. Even though this was one of our cheaper stays, it was the only hotel where they made the bed, brought fresh towels daily, and topped up the water in the room. It's about a half-hour walk to the centre. That worked for my party, but keep it in mind if you want to stay close in. Grab made the distance easy, at around 30k vnd.

The location was awkward because the hotel is on the main road and getting to it involves U-turns. There are lots of Russians staying in the neighbourhood, and the elevator played loud, strange music. Wi-Fi was patchy and dropped during voice calls. I paid 500k for an ocean-view room on the 12th floor. The view was maybe 45 degrees, rather than panoramic, since the building blocks it on two sides and from above. The back window also looks out onto the old airport. Hot water and air conditioning worked well.

I stayed for a couple of weeks, and the location near the kite beach worked really well for me. The staff were really nice. For an ocean-view room this large, it was one of the best deals. Highly recommended.

For the price, it's a good hotel. I arrived to some cleaning problems, but reception and the housekeeping ladies sorted them out quickly ❤️🩷🩵💚💜
