Erica Nha Trang Hotel

I stayed for a month because the accommodation was excellent, and the Wi-Fi worked well for my job. The top-floor views are stunning, and breakfast was delicious. The cleaners came every day, keeping everything clean and leaving fresh towels. The staff were so friendly. Quoc Dung gave me lots of recommendations and is a great manager. I’d highly recommend the place and would stay again.

The location is great, right in the middle of everything, with anything you might need close by and the beach just a short walk away. The room is a little small, but it has what you need. The cleaning staff are there when you need them, though our room could have been cleaner when we arrived. The bathroom is nice. The pool is tiny, the chairs up there need replacing, and the bar isn’t operating.

After about 10 hours, the hotel finally gave us a room, but it was severely unhygienic and unsafe. There was extensive black mold, including inside the refrigerator, heavy contamination on surfaces, and bed bugs in the mattress and pillows. The room seemed unfit for people to stay in, so we checked out immediately and left. We are pursuing a full reimbursement through Agoda and PayPal, and have provided both platforms with photos and videos. The problem started with our 28-day booking. While we could still cancel for free, we visited in advance with our booking confirmation and asked to see the exact room category. They showed us a specific room and assured us we’d get that category, so we didn’t cancel. When we later tried to check in, they assigned us a different room. We asked either for the room they’d promised or to cancel without charge so we could leave. Instead, they demanded extra nightly charges: 150,000 VND for the room they initially wanted to give us, or 200,000 VND for the originally promised category. The hotel didn’t resolve the issue for more than 10 hours and kept changing its demands. According to Agoda customer service, the hotel ignored a large part of Agoda’s attempts to contact them. The process is documented in call logs, written communication records, and multiple emails to Agoda. In the final hour, Agoda customer service reached reception, but the receptionist repeatedly said he wasn’t authorized to approve or process a cancellation, leaving things unresolved. Some staff members tried to help, but management did not fix the situation. The simplest and most reasonable solution from the start would have been to release us from the booking and let us leave in peace, especially since it was for a long stay of 28 days.

We had our most memorable vacation here, thanks to the warm welcome from FO. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, and the pool was great. Best hotel in Nha Trang ever.
