The front desk is actually run from an apartment on the 29th floor, and the elevators are hot, slow, crowded, and too few for a building this size. In my room, dishes were dirty, there were cockroaches, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut because it was broken. Staff were rude and arrogant, and asked for extra payments that weren't on my Booking.com confirmation. Don't trust the Google listing photos. Several, including the nice swimming pool, are from the luxury hotel next door. The place is a dump. Avoid it, there are plenty of lovely hotels nearby for the same money.

The beach view was the only good part of my stay. The room smelled musty and had lots of bugs, and the place itself is old and shabby. There are only three lifts, and they're so slow that waits of more than 10 minutes are something to expect.

It's close to the beach, night market, and main street, with Sailing club about a two minute walk away. The airport is around 40 minutes away, and the resorts are about 20 minutes away. The apartment has the basic furniture and appliances you need for a holiday, including a washing machine, fridge, iron, microwave, TV, and dryer. It can fit 3-4 people, so it's handy for friends or family. On a weekend, a sea view room is about 2 million a day and a city view room about 1 million, though some websites may offer a better booking price.

The rooms were fine overall, cleaned every day and cool enough. The website photos seem a little out of date, though, and my room was missing some of the listed items, like blackout blinds, a clothes drying rack, and dishwashing liquid. The air conditioner and washing machine both worked, but seemed overdue for a clean, and maintenance felt a bit lacking.
