We stayed three nights, and the service was terrible. The receptionists smoked in the lobby and took their time before helping us. They could hardly be bothered with us at all. Our room had an odd smell, and in the twin room they joined the beds and gave us only one blanket, apparently to save on the second one. At least the place is affordable.

The hotel was clean and nice for its price range, but the owner and some staff were a disaster. They tried to charge us for small mango stains on the bedsheet that would have washed out easily. They also refused to return our passports until we paid. Don’t stay there unless you want to experience old-fashioned corruption.
