Construction on both sides of the building was extremely loud, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. After a 13-hour bus ride, arriving at 4:30 a.m., it was the last thing we wanted. We had paid upfront for three nights, but after the first night we wanted to leave as soon as possible and politely asked for the other two nights to be refunded. The manager refused. The hotel itself was very poor. Our room was tiny, with one small window and no curtain. It was June, but Merry Christmas posters were still up everywhere, which gives you an idea of how well the place is looked after. We moved to another hotel without getting our money back. Don't stay here.

I booked a room directly at reception for three days and two nights at a low price. I think the room could sleep about eight people. It was clean, with a new bed, and the bathroom was kept supplied with soap, toothpaste, and other things you might need on a trip. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and kind. I rented a motorbike from the hostel and rode to Ba Ho waterfall. The morning coffee was more than twice as cheap as outside, which suited a coffee lover like me.

The beach is just a three- to four-minute walk away, and the location was great. Our room was very clean, and all the employees were extremely helpful. They even let us check in five hours early, and we could sleep in the lobby for the hours before that. There was construction around the hotel, but it didn't make a difference to the noise. Great value for money, and I'd certainly recommend it.

The location was great, and they offered inexpensive tours. But my room was really dirty. There were mosquitoes, spiders, and unidentified worms on the ceiling, and I found glass shards in my bed. Even my “superior room” had no trash bin. Traffic noise was so loud I couldn't sleep. The woman with glasses was friendly and helpful, but her advice about booking a sleeper bus that would take my bike ended up disrupting my trip. I trusted her, then found out two days later, just one night before leaving, that it wasn't possible. Another woman working there was incredibly rude. She stopped listening and started doing other things while I tried to explain my problem. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
