Sun City Hotel

Getting there was a hassle: the hotel sits at the end of a dead-end alley, about a 700 m walk in. Breakfast was repetitive and dull, and the whole place felt far too old, from the room and bedding to the elevator. The blankets and sheets smelled, too. In a well-known tourist spot like Nha Trang, it felt like a hotel from the Second World War. Not worth the price, and I wouldn’t come back.

The staff made the stay especially nice. The front desk was helpful with all my questions. The location is right by the sea, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the room was spacious, clean, and stocked with the essential toiletries. There’s also a rooftop pool and deck with amazing sea views, a lovely spot for sunrise. At this price, you can’t beat the room and service. 10/10, highly recommend.

I stayed for two weeks in a lovely room opening onto the shared terrace from the corridor. There are no windows in many of the rooms, so check the room description carefully. Even with a tall hotel across the fairly narrow street, the terrace has a beautiful view of the sea and surrounding mountains. The location is very good, close to the sea, bars, shops, and other attractions. Staff were very nice, polite, and helpful, and brought fresh towels and bottled water daily. The interiors are worn and could use refurbishment, but that didn’t bother me. Breakfast was a little weak, repetitive, and mostly aimed at Asian tastes. The pleasant atmosphere and decent stay for the price made up for it. A good option if you don’t have high expectations.

A quiet spot in a small laneway, with a few restaurants, laundry, and tour services right there. It’s central in Nha Trang, and I’d happily stay again. The rooftop pool was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the wifi worked well. My room was tidy and clean with an okay view, though the shower pressure wasn’t great.
