The bed was really comfortable, the receptionist was nice, and the AC worked well. The TV was huge and had cable channels. It was a very crowded area, which was the only downside. For the price, I'd highly recommend it.

The room photos gave me the wrong impression. Most balconies look onto the stairs inside the building, so people can see you as they walk past. I had to keep the curtains closed unless I was okay with that.

I liked being right in the city centre, with restaurants and smoothie places nearby, and laundry and groceries about a five-minute walk away. The room itself was clean, nicely scented and decorated, with a balcony that gets daylight from the roof. The bathroom was nice and there was hot water too. One unusual part was how to reach staff: at night I could contact the receptionist, while during the day it was better to call the host. I handled check-in myself and paid by SMS, which suited me as an introvert.

The staff replied quickly on WhatsApp, though we didn't actually see anyone until day two or three. We picked up our room key from the counter ourselves and couldn't pay until a staff member finally showed up. It was a little strange, but not a big problem. Our private room was clean and comfortable, with good A/C and a decent bathroom. The more touristy parts of town were a bit of a walk, but the price seemed to account for that and we didn't mind. A reasonable stay for the rates.
