Greenbay Hotel The room itself was nice, but they really don't seem to know what they're doing. None of the staff speak English. I wouldn't normally mind, since I'm in their country, but they also seemed inexperienced and poorly trained. They couldn't answer questions without calling someone, and even though I stayed patient while everything was translated over the phone, they were the ones who got stressed. Once, they even called over a sweet little 10-year-old to translate. On my last day I asked about a late checkout and was quoted the full price. Since I had to pay that much, I chose to book through my app so I could earn rewards. That's when things got chaotic. I told the receptionist I'd booked and asked if I could stay in the same room. Later, they stopped my husband and said the hotel was fully booked and we'd need to move rooms. I'll spare the details of the mess that followed. At checkout, they said nothing until our bus arrived, then told us we still hadn't paid for the stay. I thought I'd paid in advance through hotels.com. The hotel's location, standard, room, and cleanliness deserved a better rating. But the communication, staff training, and guest service were poor, so I'm giving it a low one. I hope they work on it, because the place has a lot of potential.

My mom needed a wheelchair, and the hotel helped me rent one. That was such outstanding service. The place is really clean, nicely designed, and only a five-minute walk from Pho Co. I’d definitely recommend staying here. Thanks so much, and wishing you success and growth.

We haven’t even stayed yet, and I’m already uneasy. They messaged to say they hadn’t adjusted their prices for a Vietnamese holiday and would be raising them, even though I’d paid in full. They changed their tune once they realized I wouldn’t give in. Now I’m worried they might charge my card more when we arrive. Recent reviews mention the same price increase tactic. Maybe the booking companies should pay attention? We also got a “fake” WhatsApp message asking for additional information. And have you noticed how many of the generic positive reviews say almost exactly the same thing, in the same way?

The owners’ daughter was so sweet. She sat and chatted with us while practicing her English, which we really enjoyed. The place is modern and clean, right by hoa lu town, with lots of places to eat nearby. We slept great and would happily recommend it and come back.

The receptionists were friendly and helpful the whole time. Our room was clean and comfortable, and for the price it was great value. It made for a pleasant, affordable stay.
