Wild Beach Resort & Spa

The highlight for me was the wide, quiet beach, with soft white sand that made it feel beautiful and relaxing. There’s also a seashell collection on site, displayed in a small exhibition area, with shells from many different regions. It’s one of very few collections in Vietnam open to the public, and adds something unique and educational to the stay. The resort facilities are showing their age, but they’re comfortable and fair for the price. A lovely spot for a peaceful beach getaway if you want nature and something a little different.

The resort is showing its age, with dated rooms that really need renovation and little problems that call for more investment. Still, it’s a good place to get away from busy cities and towns, especially if you like a rustic feel. The beach is nice for an early swim. In the afternoon the wind picks up, making swimming harder, though paddling around is fine. The restaurant is the weak point: basic food at prices that are high compared with nearby areas. There aren’t other restaurants within walking distance, so choices are limited. Expect lots of Chinese tourists on package day trips from Nha Trang during the day, but thankfully they leave for Nha Trang around 3pm.

The beach is lovely, with amazing sea views, and the roads are nice. It’s a really wild beach, though, and there isn’t much choice for food outside the resort. We went as far as 15 km without finding a restaurant. There are a few big restaurants nearby, owned by Chinese people, but they serve tourists from China, with at least 20 buses a day.

A private beach and a beautiful sea view from the room make this a great place to get away from noisy, crowded cities. Breakfast is fine, with four set options. For lunch and dinner I had to go to Doc Let to eat, and I preferred Restaurant Dai Duong, 12 km away.
