Long Thuan Hotel & Resort

The buffet breakfast was excellent, with loads of choices and a different selection each day. The pool was very good, and with the rooms and amenities, the hotel definitely feels like a 4 star place. We did run into a couple of annoyances. One AC outlet was right above our bed and blew cold air directly on us, though it may not be that way in every room. Turning the temperature up a bit at bedtime helped. The elevators could also be crowded, with long waits, especially during the breakfast rush. We used the stairs a few times, which was fine for us.

I had a great time here. The rooms and facilities are modern, clean, and spacious, with lots of green spaces, and the staff are great and very friendly. Breakfast is free, with plenty of options. The hotel is conveniently close to the beach and Phan Rang. If you're visiting Phan Rang-Ninh Thuan for Vinh Hy Bay or windsurfing, I'd say this is the best option among the hotels in the area!

I spent two nights here with my family and thought it was a good hotel. At the breakfast buffet, though, I spotted a lizard in the macha ice cream. The service staff and manager responded very well. I still wanted to mention it so the hotel can improve.

We arrived March 19, 2025 and left March 28, 2025. We hadn't known what to expect, and the HOTEL (not the resort) lobby took us by surprise. It was so grand that, as a family of 3 kiteboarders, we felt a bit out of place. We mainly wanted somewhere comfortable to rest after long days on the water and exploring. Our oceanview triple family room was huge, very clean, and had comfortable beds with nice pillows. The bathroom was spacious, and the windows from the shower into the room were pretty funny. The toilet paper roll, though, was in a really awkward spot. We were told that because fewer than 30 people were staying at the hotel, there'd be no buffet breakfast, just an A La Carte menu. It was okay, but got repetitive during a longer stay. We did get the buffet three days, which was nice, but the regular menu became a bit boring the rest of the time. The beach was close, and when we walked there we were the only people around. The hotel felt deserted, which was surreal given how big the property was. The pool was beautiful and enormous when there were only 3 people in it. We used it, but around 2pm we were politely asked to turn off our music outside because people were resting. The staff were very polite and clearly tried their best. An app translator is a good idea if you want to communicate anywhere in Phan Rang other than Vietnamese. We rented scooters to get around, which was a lot of fun and let us feel like locals in the town/city. Nights were pretty quiet. We did move rooms right away from the north side to the south side because the wind howled loudly at night. The building design is beautiful but doesn't work well with the windy weather there. The staff were very helpful with the move. One night we also heard someone dragging chairs across the floor instead of lifting them, but that happened only once during our stay, when the hotel was very empty. We found the karaoke rooms and had a ball. There's nothing like that in Canada. It would've been nice to know there was a charge to use the room, but we had such a good time that we didn't mind. A beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Keep in mind the time of year we visited.
