The view was FANTASTIC, especially the nighttime outlook over Le Hong Phong bridge. The hotel is right in the middle of Phan Thiet, next to the market and Ho Chi Minh's old school, so it’s a good choice if you want to visit attractions. I stayed one day after booking at the last minute through Agoda, though they seemed to have to dig up my reservation. Not a big problem, just something to note. It used to be one of the best, but now feels a little outdated. It’s more than you need if you just want a place to sleep, though it does the job. The beds are comfy and the AC works.

The room had a small balcony overlooking the river and town. I stayed in room 203. The hotel has a nostalgic, 1930s style, and it brought French colonial times to mind. It’s in the town center, within walking distance of the fishing port and restaurants. The room and beds were clean, the TV and air conditioning worked, and the old-fashioned bathroom was okay. Breakfast was included, with European-style food. At 20€ it was well worth the visit.

The window was nice, but its inox frame blocked the view anyway. The room had an odd layout, an old bulky monitor TV, and a hot ceiling light instead of LED. It didn’t look as beautiful inside as it does from outside.
