The beach is the standout for me. It’s a really long stretch, and even when the water’s high there’s still sand left. It can sometimes have waste washed up on it, though that’s an issue across Vietnam. The grounds are green, with fresh air, and make for a nice walk and some photos. I also enjoyed the food, which was much better than what you usually get, and the prices are reasonable. Even the bathroom had a shower curtain 😃! This is our fourth visit, and the first was about 20 years ago, when the place was called Mỏm Đá Chim. It’s a three-star resort spread across a very large park, with bungalows and a few buildings. The bungalows have two spacious rooms and a large bathroom. It’s showing its age, though the owner seems to keep up with maintenance, and there were staff working around the property. Our air conditioner worked, more or less, but the fan noise controls didn’t respond well. The remote was too dark to read. A few outlets didn’t work, but there were still more usable ones than I usually find in hotels. With some fresh paint, wood oiling, and replacement of older equipment, this could be one of the best resorts nearby for the price. It’s not too far from Sai Gon, and maybe more advertising there would help. The staff are very friendly and helpful, 10 điểm 😀. I’d like to return every couple of years.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the rest of the stay was disappointing. This may have been a four-star hotel ten years ago, and it needs better upkeep. On Saturday, there were no other guests and breakfast was a poor meal from four choices, with orange juice, for 50k VND. Sunday had a buffet, but smoking was allowed in the breakfast area 🫣. I’d suggest booking Aloha next door instead. We spent our days there and enjoyed dinner there too.

The restaurant food was good and fairly priced, but we had to order dinner 40 minutes ahead so the kitchen could prepare it. There aren’t other restaurants nearby, so we didn’t have another option. When I stayed with friends, there were only six of us there, including for dinner. The resort is quite worn down, from the rooms to the landscaping and restaurant. The nightly rate was 1.5M VND, including breakfast for two, but breakfast was very basic. I’m curious how many guests stay there these days. If I didn’t need to spend one night in Lagi, I wouldn’t book it, though it seems to be one of the better options in the area.

The pools are beautiful, and the rooms are roomy. Lazy Beach was great, and the location worked well for me. I enjoyed walking along the shore, although the waves felt a little too strong for my liking. I’d happily recommend staying here next time.

The security guard was kind to me and my family, which was the one good part of the stay. The room was old and dirty, the wifi weak, and the food nothing special. The beach had shells and trash, and the grounds were easy to get lost in, especially after dark. A young group sang loudly into a microphone by the pool for hours, and no staff member asked them to stop. This is a resort, not a club. Please respect the other guests. We paid a lot and this is what we got. Around 11 pm the power went out without warning, apology, or explanation. I had to call to ask what was happening, and they told me to stay calm because they were doing their best. We couldn’t open the door because of the flies and mosquitoes, so we were without power for over two hours. Nothing was refunded, and we didn’t even get a proper apology. That’s my experience, but this place felt like a scam.
