The ants in the bathroom were the one issue that needs attention. Otherwise, we had a wonderful few days at Du Parc Resort Mui Ne and would gladly return. It's quiet, spacious and feels like a private oasis, with very little noise. We had a beautiful ocean view from room 603. Room 701 is said to be even more secluded with a similarly great view. The resort is outside the city center, but we got around with Grab or Xanh SM. Staff arranged a driver soon after we contacted reception, took us down to the beach, and provided beach towels. Thanh Thuy also helped arrange a tour transfer from the resort to Ho Chi Minh City, which we really appreciated. The service was excellent. Our room was perfect for unwinding.

The biggest issue for us was how exposed the bathroom felt. Its roof only covers the corners, leaving a large gap by the wall, and insects and reptiles kept moving in and out. A big cockroach startled my girlfriend in the shower right after we arrived. I didn't see mosquitoes, but wouldn't be surprised if there were some. Maybe the design helps avoid mold, but we weren't comfortable with it. We left after one night, despite having paid for four, and I wish we'd known what to expect. This doesn't feel like a beach resort in the usual sense. There's a nearby public beach, but it isn't cared for, has rubbish around and no shade. The property also lacks the amenities I'd expect from a resort, such as a spa, gym or pool or beach bar. To me, it's more like an expensive B&B, and there's not much to do there. You need Grab or a motorbike to get anywhere. There were positives: the rooms are modern and spacious, the view is great, the pool is nice and the place is calm. Breakfast was mediocre, with just one dish, and not enough for my girlfriend, who eats much less than I do. When I asked, they offered a different dish the next day. So it's not terrible, which is why I'd give it three stars, but check what you're booking. The description on booking.com gave us a different impression.

The resort's room, views and quiet atmosphere are the main draw, but it's a very isolated location. It's at the far end of Mui Ne, beyond the busy tourist areas, beaches and restaurants, with essentially nothing in walking distance except Tiệm cà phê Hừng Đông, a small beachside coffee and drinks spot with farm animals for photos, about a 20-minute walk away. We paid around AUD $50 for a private car from Ho Chi Minh City, a four-hour ride. We had a nice check-in. A friendly buggy driver took our luggage and brought us up to the room at the very top, at the end of the road. It was wonderfully quiet with amazing views. Rooms closer to the lower roads may hear traffic, though ours didn't. The bed had two swans made from towels and flower petals in a heart, a lovely touch. The pool was clean and nice too. Staff were friendly and cheerful, which made our interactions pleasant, though service overall was just okay. They weren't very helpful with activity ideas, transport, tours or buses. There's no room service, and getting anywhere means taking a Grab, about 150,000-250,000 VND each way depending on the destination in Mui Ne. Breakfast was a letdown: basic and limited, mostly eggs and a few Vietnamese dishes, especially hard if you have dietary needs. I'd give the resort around four stars for the room, views and peace, but less for the location, food and guest assistance. It's a good fit if you want total quiet and don't mind being far from things, but not if you need convenience or easy access to Mui Ne attractions.

We booked a room for three days and two nights, but left after just one because the stay was so disappointing. The location also seems farther out than listed: Agoda says it's 32 km from the resort to the center, not 11 km. Although the resort was designed and built in 2024, and it was still 2025 when we stayed, the facilities and service already felt run down, especially for the price during tourist season and holidays. The online room photos looked lovely, but the room itself was poor. The sink and toilet were dirty, the rusty bin beside the bathroom looked awful, and the towels and handkerchiefs were yellowed. We didn't use the resort towels, but it seemed like the owner didn't want to care for or replace them. The sheets hadn't been changed either. Room service just folded them neatly, and daily cleaning seemed limited to changing the bin liner, far short of the professional standard promised. When the handkerchiefs got wet from the sink, we hung them up, but they weren't changed. The room wasn't spacious, and the air conditioner was still hot in PO mode. Breakfast was bad enough that we stopped eating right away. It was supposed to run from 7:00 to 9:30, but at 8:30 most of the food was gone. What was left looked like leftovers from the day before and was cold. I hope management takes these problems seriously so future guests don't have the same experience.

The swimming pool was good, but the resort is very far from the city center. The night shift buggy driver had a really bad, racist attitude. Because of him, I don't think I'll visit again, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone planning a stay.
