Lotus Village Resort Mui Ne

The garden and pool look great in photos, but if you want a genuinely comfortable stay, this may not be the place. The rooms need a complete renovation. The air conditioning barely worked, and the rooms were dusty and felt sticky. Even with daily housekeeping, the old structure meant the room never felt hygienic, as if dust and the elements were always getting in. The outdoor bathroom was smelly, run-down, and outdated. Service felt surface-level and transactional, like staff were just there to do a job. Some extra attentiveness and warmth toward guests would go a long way. I nearly gave it one star, but the accommodation has potential to be much better. 2/5.

The grounds and design are lovely, especially the garden, which is very well maintained. The hill-side rooms around the garden and pool are quiet and peaceful, and the pool by the sea has wonderful scenery. It’s also a decent stay for the price, and people who want nice photos may be happy here. I’m sure this used to be an elegant hotel, but it doesn’t feel that way anymore. The rooms are worn out, and the service doesn’t quite meet a premium standard.

A quiet spot with shops and restaurants nearby, and rooms right by a sandy beach. The property has a lovely Vietnamese style, with a great beachfront pool overlooking the sea and another pool by the garden. The rooms come with air conditioning, a large bathroom with hot water, fridge, kettle, slightly old TV, fast and stable Wi-Fi, a comfortable king-size bed, and a balcony. The rooms need renovation, especially the bathroom, and the price still felt too high even after the discount.

The breakfast was great, and the view while eating it was amazing. The staff were really nice too. There were lots of mosquitoes, but they sprayed our room for us.
