MANTA Sail Training Centre

A peaceful place to stay in Mui Me, with a lovely view and a beach that feels almost private. The Wi-Fi signal was really strong compared with anywhere else in Vietnam. Sun beds and paddle boats with life jackets were free to use. The host was super kind and helped arrange a sand dune tour at a decent price. We had a great experience! :)

Sailing through the harbor's fishing boats, out toward the fish farms in the bay, and waving to fishermen working on their boats made the town feel alive in a way we never could have seen from shore. That was a highlight of our trip. My friend and I rented Fevas on two different days. We let Manta know ahead of time, and both days the boats were rigged and ready. Julia and Phung were lovely, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The boats, sails, and lines were in great shape, which surprised me given my past experiences renting dinghies while traveling. I highly recommend Manta and the staff. They're true sailors.

Lovely bay, beautiful brand-new dinghies, and a great team. I went from no experience to sailing solo in just 4.5 hours. Highly recommended.

I took a Laser out for an hour and really enjoyed it. The boats and gear are good quality, and there’s a wide range of boats and water sports equipment for different ages and abilities. Conditions are good, and everything is well set up for learning. Julia is welcoming and chatty, and the staff are friendly. I’d highly recommend learning to sail here. I’ll come back later in the year to try the Foiling Laser.
