The pool was lovely, and it wasn’t too busy, though there aren’t many sunbeds. Breakfast was okay and enough to fill a gap, but portions weren’t large. There are convenience stores nearby, and the Pit stop food court was lovely. There’s no beach close by, so you’ll need a Grab or can rent a motorbike for 150k. Our room was decent and the air conditioning worked well, but being near the road made it noisy at night. There was a small extra room, presumably for drying clothes, with a towel left inside that seemed to belong to another guest. A hole in the bathroom wall had been covered with sellotape and a picture, which was odd.

For anyone after a quiet stay, I’d recommend this hotel. It’s a decent two-star place with a pool, and the staff are friendly and eager to help. You can rent scooters or bicycles. Breakfast is a set meal rather than a buffet, so it came out quickly. My ground-floor room looked like the pictures. The downside was a couple upstairs who stomped around for the last three days of my stay. My complaint didn’t help, and the man became even ruder. The owner kindly offered me another room, but I declined since it was my last night. Singles may be a better room choice, though the rooms are still comfortable. There isn’t a nice beach nearby, and you have to travel more than a kilometer to find one.

The rooms are small but have enough space, and housekeeping came every day with a bottle of water. There’s a small private pool. Breakfast was the same daily, one dish and one drink. The big windows make it easy to see into the rooms. It’s a long way from the beach.

This is my second stay, and I still like the place. It’s a friendly boutique hotel, and the main reason I pick it is that it welcomes pets. The vibe is relaxed and chill, especially looking out over the pool. Breakfast is simple, though I usually skip breakfast, so I can’t say much about it.
