Quoc Dinh Guesthouse

Tony is a really nice owner and speaks great English. Behind the hotel there’s a big, relaxing area on the mountain with a good view. There’s a mini amusement park right across the road, and Tony did try to keep the music noise down. It was Tet holiday, so the noise is understandable. If you want a quiet stay, check with the owner before you go. The hot water and Wi-Fi were both good, and there’s a local restaurant right across the road.

The owners were helpful and nice, and the stay was inexpensive. I only booked one day but would’ve happily stayed longer. Getting anywhere from the okay location means taking a Grab, though. There was also a lot of construction noise, which wasn’t the owners’ fault.

The rooms were clean, the AC worked great, and the staff were friendly. They also give you fruit and coffee in the morning. But sounds from the road and cafe carry right into the rooms. Some locals talked and laughed loudly in the cafe and lobby until 11 pm while I was trying to sleep. The owner shouldn’t have let that go on.

The woman running this place was the nicest person I met in Vietnam. She was always glad to see us and ready to help. The food was banging too, and the room had godly air con.
